Frequently Asked Questions
What should students wear?
Wear plenty of sunscreen, shorts or pants, nice top for pictures, and comfortable shoes. Students wearing inappropriate clothing will be sent home. Please adhere to
CHS Dress Code
.
What should students bring to the Freshmen Orientation?
Small bag - Bring a small bag to hold all of your personal items! We don't want anything to get lost!
Small snack & Drink
- We will provide lunch at 12pm, so a little something to hold them over, like a granola bar, would be ideal to keep them energetic throughout all of the fun activities. Snacks will also be sold during lunch time. So bring extra money.
Cell Phone
- We have a fun day planed so a cellphone is not necessary. However, having a cellphone can be handy if a freshman forgets their registration packet or to call for a ride if orientation finishes early. (Note: Students must bring at their own discretion. Norco High is not responsible for lost or stolen phones.)
Sun Protection
- Students will get a tour of campus, so we recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat and/or sunglasses to protect themselves from the sun.
Cash
- We have snack tables that are available to students during lunch. Lunch only provides a burrito and a bottle of water, so bring a little extra if you think your child may need a little more.
Order Forms
- Bring your completed photo order forms with payment, as well as the Activities Office/Student Store order form.
