The Corona High School Theatre Department consists of 5 classes which produce 1 mainstage play, 1 musical, and 2-6 One Acts annually.
Theatre 1
Theatre 1 is an introductory class, where students learn about acting, design, and production hands on. Each class produces a one act play to end the year.
Theatre 2
Theatre 2 deepens students’ knowledge by having them participate in Project Based Learning in the areas of theatre they are interested in.
Theatre 3
Theatre 3 is an audition only class that competes in festivals and produces a full length and one act play.
Theatre Production is the cast, designers, and crew of the mainstage show each semester.
Theatre is a constantly evolving art form with roles for everyone, whether they want to perform or design backstage.
One year of theatre (any VAPA) is an A-G requirement.

Design, build, and paint scenery and props.
Design hair and makeup for performance, helping actors apply every night.
Focus lights and program on industry standard light and sound boards.
