Welcome to the Counseling Department
Mission Statement
The mission of the Corona High School counseling program is to deliver data informed, research driven, comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate programs that address all students' academic and career goals. The school counseling department supports students’ postsecondary readiness, are prepared for their future careers life success, and social emotional development. This is accomplished through a partnership with parents/guardians, staff, and community members. School counselors advocate for equity and access for all students regardless of ability, culture, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, race, or religious beliefs. All students are empowered to become successful, productive citizens, and lifelong learners in a diverse and changing world.
Confidentiality Statement
Your confidentiality and privacy as a student is important to us. What you tell us will not be repeated to others unless you reveal information on harming yourself, harming others, situations of being physically, emotionally, or sexually abused, or we are required by the court or legal proceedings to do so. If there is ever a need to reveal information, we will work with you to handle the situation in a way that respects you, your feelings, and your needs.
