REMINDER: AB104 BILL INFORMATION

In our last community newsletter we shared that AB104 had been recently been signed into law. Part of that legislation allowed for high school families to request, within a 15 day window, for any grade in the 2020-21 school year to be converted from a letter grade to a “Pass/No Pass” grade.

The window to make these requests will be open from August 2 to August 17. The process for grade changes will be as follows:

  1. Download the grade change form (available on August 2, 2021 via Parent Connect and on the district website).
  2. Login to Parent Connect to access student transcript to use as a reference for completing the grade change form.
  3. Parent/Guardian uploads the completed grade change request form in Parent Connect through the "Students Documents" app.
  4. Counselors will reach out to families to go over the requests.
  5. Parents/Guardian will receive notification once the process has been completed. This notification will be shared through Parent Connect.
